About the course

Business English Pronunciation for Global Success is a live, four-week course that helps you speak clearly and confidently in professional settings. Our goal is intelligibility—being understood the first time—so you can lead discussions, present ideas, and build strong relationships in English. We focus on clarity, not “losing” your accent or identity.

Classes are small and interactive on Zoom. In each 90-minute session you will do short drills, role-plays, and quick recordings. You will receive targeted instructor feedback that tells you exactly what to adjust and how to practice it. Between classes, expect 20–30 minutes of focused tasks that fit a busy schedule. All materials, models, and checklists are on Canvas. A headset or earbuds with a microphone are recommended.

Who is it for? This course is recommended for CEFR B1 (Lower-Intermediate+) learners and above. If you can join conversations and share ideas but want clearer pronunciation and more natural delivery, you will benefit. This is not a grammar or test-prep course; we focus on clear, confident speech for work.

  • Make key sounds clear—for example, price vs prize, advice vs advise, ship vs chip, lead (/liːd) vs led (/lɛd)—to avoid confusion in meetings.
  • Place stress correctly in common workplace words so your speech sounds natural.
  • Use sentence rhythm to guide attention: We need to deliver on FRIDAY vs We NEED to deliver on Friday.
  • Sound smoother through thought groups and linking.
  • Speak with confidence in status updates, client calls, and short slide presentations.

By the end of the course, you will communicate with greater clarity and control, reduce the need to repeat yourself, and feel more at ease in high-value moments—calls, demos, interviews, and team updates.
