Professionals in a modern meeting room collaborating across cultures

A diverse group of four professionals in a sunlit meeting room discussing intercultural communication.

About the course

Mastering Intercultural Communication for Business Success is a live, four-week course that helps you work and lead across cultures with clarity and respect. We focus on practical skills you can use immediately—how to adapt your message for different audiences, avoid misunderstandings, and handle sensitive conversations while staying authentic.

🇧🇷 Note: This upcoming cohort is tailored for Brazilian Portuguese speakers.

Classes are small and interactive on Zoom. Each session includes short case studies, role-plays, and guided reflection with targeted instructor feedback. Between classes, expect 20–30 minutes of focused tasks on Canvas. By the end, you will communicate more confidently in multicultural teams and high-stakes conversations.

Who is it for? Recommended for CEFR B2+ (Intermediate+) users of English. If you already participate in professional conversations but want stronger cross-cultural clarity and influence, this course is a strong fit.

  • Read the room: notice culture-driven cues (tone, pacing, turn-taking) and adapt your style.
  • Say things clearly and respectfully: use softeners (might, could, would), hedging, and direct yet courteous wording.
  • Disagree without conflict: use diplomatic frames (Another way to look at this is…) and solution language.
  • Lead across cultures: align on goals, confirm understanding, and close meetings with clear next steps.
