Jennie Brown Parker, MA, MS
Jennie Parker has taught English as a second language since 2005 in various capacities, including universities, community English programs, and private coaching. She began her career at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2003, first in the role of instructional technologist at the Center for Teaching and Learning and then as a lecturer at the Language Institute. She has also taught English in Turkey and in Chile, the latter on a Fulbright Scholarship, and has served on the U.S. Student Fulbright National Screening Committee. Jennie has led numerous instructor training workshops and has presented at local and international TESOL conferences. She earned a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) at the British Council in Istanbul. In addition, she holds a master's degree in applied linguistics from Georgia State and a master's degree in human-computer interaction from Georgia Tech. In her free time, Jennie enjoys cooking, practicing Spanish and Turkish, and traveling.
